Poor Communication; Doesn't care about clients

I don't really know how to start to explain my frustration with dealing with the recent handling of my case. Around the end of September, I was made aware of a court date regarding dismissal of my case due to tax returns that hadn't been submitted to the courts. I immediately contacted Mr Juan Tomasino's office through email as well as multiple phone calls to no avail. Finally, he contacted me around October 6th to inform me he would get case reinstated. A week later the lien holder City Autos repossessed my car, I contacted Mr Tomasino again to inform him with no response for over a week. At this point I contacted the courts and was told by I believe his name was Owen to contact Mr Tomasino once more and if he didn't respond within 48 hours to call back in which I did. The next day, Mr Tomasino contacted me to let me know he would be filing the reinstatement and he would contact City Auto to see if they had disposed of the vehicle and if not they would be forced to return to me. I am still without a vehicle, case has been reinstated and City Autos is being paid through my plan which I find unfair. From my understanding, Mr Tomasino was aware that he was to file a modification and did not. Once again I attempt to contact Mr Tomasino, this time he actually answers and says the will contact dealership and call me back within an hour, well it's been over 3 wks. I'm at my wits end and would like to request my case to be dismissed but without an attorney to advise me on how to go about this, I'm at a brick wall. This case was going well up until the last 3 months. It's absolutely not worth the grief it's causing me.

THIS IS UNETHICAL AND I NEED MY REFUND BACK

I recently in November 2014 hired Juan Tomasino to do a switch from Chapter 13 to a Chapter 7 Bankruptcy. On the phone he told me he can do this for me and advised me to stop paying on the Chapter 13 monthly payments I had been making for over 2 1/2 years. I told him I had just moved here to TX and my Chapter 13 was done with my current Atty in SC. He stated he would charge to do this for me at a set price of 1,000 and he was able to take it three installment payments. I got a call from Nichole to confirm an appoinment with Angel Tomasino (his brother) here in San Antonio TX at local office on November 25th. I had to make my first payment at the office with my debit card which was 359.00 withdrawn on Nov 26th, 2014, My checking account then was withdrawn on Jan 6th, 2015 and Feb 6th 2015. On the February 5th I called the office of Juan Tomasino to find out the status of my case. Nichole who answered tells me that she will have Mr Tomasino call me back but he did not. In the meantime, I also took it upon myself to call my current SC Atty to find out if they knew anything different on my case. The law office in SC told me there was a letter sent out to me stating I was in negligence with 3 mths of my Chapter 13 pmts and I needed to take care of this quickly or I would have more complications, Come to find out that Juan Tomasino hasn't contacted anyone concerning this case until I started to constantly phone his office in distress several times to find out what is going on. He finally makes the call to my current SC Atty, Juan tells me that because my case is in SC and he did not have jurisdiction there to switch my case over, so then he preceded to tell me that I would have to have my current SC Atty to switch the case and that meant more money I would have to pay out to my current Bankruptcy SC Atty. So on February 13,2015. I requested my refund back and he tells me that he needed to look at the time he put into this and will get back with me. On February 18th 2015 I phoned office again and he was unavailable to talk with me and Nichole again tells me she would give him the message to call me. (No call backs) I phoned again Feb 20th 2015 which is today. Nichole says he told her to let me know that his schedule is hectic the rest of the day and he will return my call on Monday Feb 23rd 2015. On this date, I still haven't received any money back.

Juan Tomasino Bankruptcy Attorney

I retained this attorney Juan Tomasino in December 2011. Durning that consultation and meeting we discussed me paying $250 as a retainer and I had a current repo in action and he stated his calls to the Credit Union would be made as long as I paid the retainer of $250. I had 30 to come up with $750 more dollars to receive a discount of $500. After making several calls to Juan to call the Credit Uniion he finally did to just email me the contact person that I had to set an appt with. I lost my job on 1/16/2012 and the 30 days was up on 1/19/2012. I received numerous calls attempting to collect the remaining $750 from me for the discount. On January 19th although I had no income or unemployment Juan Tomasino signed my signature representing me using square for the balance of $750. Since 1/19/2012 nothing was done on my behalf as I had not been able to take any online courses NOR did I submit any creditors to him. Here we are in June 2012 and Juan refuses to refund me the $750 and states he has done a lot on a case which I have done nothing on nor turned in anything to him. I myself am handling my creitors he is not. Juan Tomasino is offering $250 of my $1000 to me as a refund and is this Attorney that hard up for clients and cash that he would basically hold my money hostage and tell me in the future he can take on the case as a credit?

I was looking for an attorney for a friend of mine who didnt pay a few thousand dollar debt on a credit card, so i ran intoTomasino, i asked him about the case, and what he charges. He said 5k to defend the law suit. Why not just appear in court and pay the creditor 3k for the dismissal instead of 5k for his fee. After a lot of talk, i pieced this together, and this law office grabs anything they can get, then they get deposits and.you better hope you are not being charged with a death penalty case, because with this law firm, you will get 6 electric chair sentences, i read enough to learn about what is going on there at the firm
